Testimonials

Oasis Warndon Community Hub Image

“The support of the Worcestershire Community Foundation has allowed a real emergence of community empowerment, engagement and collaborative participation. The Get Set Grow project will impact this community intergenerationally and allow a safe space to learn, grow and provide for the future.”

“Worcester Paint Festival is so thankful to WCF for the grant for our 2023 event. You enabled us to deliver a highly successful year of murals and the amazing exhibition ‘Paint the Streets about UK graffiti and street art history. This was visited by a very different demographic from across the UK and further, and received very positive feedback.”

Worcester Theatres – Inclusive Communities Fund grantee Image

“We are proud to continue the work of Saucy, which not only provides high quality locally sourced LGBTQ+ talent for Worcester Theatre’s audiences but paid opportunities for queer artists. LGBTQ+ awareness is another aspect of the work, of which we are proud. The Awareness training will provide businesses and organisations with information on the LGBTQ+ community, legal obligations, diversity and equality. We hope that this will encourage community cohesion and tolerance.”

Jo-Anna Hine, Youth Manager, Malvern Cube Projects Image

“Thank you for your support, this funding has made a huge difference to so many young people. The cost of living is impacting on so many of our young people and families and so being able to provide a hot meal and clothing has been a real support to many of them.”
