Worcestershire Community Foundation have been successfully awarded a grant to map the counties Areas of Need.
The Vital Signs reports is designed to help inform local philanthropy with an analysis of need and some inspirational accounts of how charitable can make the greatest difference in the most needed areas.
A report on the needs of the county based on the 10 priority themes, as highlighted by UKCF, will be produced by October 2017.
These themes are: -
Housing and homelessness
Arts, culture and heritage
We will be working with the University of Worcester to conduct the research. The Vital Signs programme is part of the UKCF national programme to increase awareness of the area’s most in need of support. You can read more about Vital Signs in the UK at UKCF Vital Signs.
